Gov. Dapo Should Construct Few Km Roads As Anniversary Gift To Elese - Odusanya

The chairman of the Ilese league of nation builders, Otunba Kayode Odusanya, has appealed to Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State to construct a few kilometres of road networks in Ilese as an anniversary gift to Elese.
Speaking during a new year visit to the Ilese country home of the elder statesman, the Baba Ijo of the St Paul's Church who doubles as the Bobatolu of Ilese Kingdom expressed displeasure with the deplorable road condition in his domain.
Otunba Odusanya hinted that there are no roads in Ilese, especially with floods threatening the major roads in the community. Going by the definition of a road "A road is defined as a smooth surface without any form of discomfort". With this definition, it is easy to conclude that there is no single road in Ilese.

He added that there is the need for the state to construct a few kilometres of road network in the community as democracy dividends to the electorate.
Otunba Bobatolu of Ilese stated that Prince Dapo Abiodun should construct few kilometre road networks in Ilese as an anniversary gift to the Elese of Ilese, Oba Owolabi Obayomi on his fifth coronation anniversary as this will not only give the people a sense of belonging in the society, it will also enhance economic activities in the community.
Baba Odusanya also spoke on the anniversary celebration of Ilese stating that the  monarch has met the expectations of the people. With his pedigree as a retired permanent secretary in the state civil service, he has been able to maintain peace in his domain.

He added that the monarch represent the interest of the people;
resolving issues among the Islamic religion goes a long way in promoting the tradition of the people.
Baba Ijo described Oba Obayomi as a 21st century royal father that serves as an impetus for the community to grow and flourish; pointing out that during his reign, the town has witnessed maximum peace, as the people of the community continue to excel in their vocations.
He also spoke on the annual Ilese Day carnival, stating that the carnival has come to stay as it attracts tourists across the globe and also serves as a platform through which project implementation and execution are being made.

Baba Odusanya stated that proceeds of the annual carnival is judiciously used to undertake capital projects in the community while the community will soon witness the establishment of industries that will create jobs for the youth.
Otunba Bobatolu pointed out that the annual carnival will soon be elevated to an enviable status like Calabar carnival, among other carnivals across the globe.
In his words of motivations to the people, "The entire people of Ilese should count ourselves lucky for having a distinctive personality as a royal father of the town at this particular historic period and we all need to cooperate with him. Although he has his shortcomings, because he is not Jesus Christ, we all need to cooperate with him so that we will be able to uplift the community.
Otunba Odusanya enjoined the people of Ilese locally and internationally to contribute to the growth of Ilese so that generations coming behind will have the cause to smile.
